FOUNDER, CHAIRMAN & MANAGING PARTNER
Archie L. Mutts Jr.
Archie L. Mutts Jr. is the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Partner of AU Strategic Alliance Group International, LLC, known as AUSAG, an emerging strategic business platform focused on developing commercial opportunities through strategic alliances, partnerships, market access, project development, and international business relationships.
Archie’s approach to business is built around a fundamental belief: complex opportunities often require several organizations, each possessing a different part of the solution.
One may bring capital. Another may control the underlying opportunity. Others may contribute technology, technical expertise, local execution capability, institutional relationships, or market access.
His role is often to determine whether those pieces can be brought together within a commercially viable structure where responsibilities are clear, interests are aligned, and each participant contributes measurable value.
Through AUSAG, Archie is developing interests across international business, natural resources and mining, infrastructure, healthcare, technology, real estate, market entry, capital formation, strategic partnerships, and cross-border project development.
Ghana has become an important part of AUSAG’s evolving international strategy. Archie has been involved in developing relationships and evaluating opportunities involving Ghanaian businesses, project sponsors, technical professionals, legal and regulatory advisers, equipment providers, healthcare organizations, business leaders, and potential international partners.
He views Ghana not as a single-industry opportunity, but as part of a larger strategy to create bridges between credible African opportunities and companies, investors, technology providers, operators, and strategic partners that can contribute the resources required for execution.
Archie evaluates opportunities through an ownership-oriented lens. Beyond immediate economics, he considers control, leverage, scalability, risk allocation, strategic position, long-term relationships, and what an opportunity could eventually become.
He also believes ambition must be supported by verification. Significant projects should withstand financial analysis, documentation, legal review, technical validation, risk assessment, and clearly defined accountability before substantial capital or reputation is placed at risk.
As AUSAG develops, Archie is focused on strengthening its governance, financial controls, project evaluation systems, due diligence procedures, strategic planning, risk management, documentation, and institutional relationships.
His long-term goal is to build AUSAG beyond a founder-dependent enterprise and into an organization capable of participating credibly in increasingly significant international opportunities.
Family, faith, loyalty, integrity, accountability, and keeping his word remain central to Archie’s leadership philosophy. He believes reputation and relationships are assets that must be protected just as carefully as capital.
Ultimately, his vision extends beyond individual transactions. Archie is working to build enduring businesses, strategic relationships, ownership, international partnerships, economic opportunity, and institutions capable of creating value long after their founders are gone.
